Giulipas was officially set up in 1985 in Lumezzane, a renowned area for its hard-working and entrepreneurial inhabitants, and over the years it grew with precise objectives: quality, experience and seriousness.
Until then, before 1985, the activity was totally carried out by hand by a couple of people, in a small space next to the founders’ dwelling.
Building on this already long experience, Giulipas made a name for itself in the 1980s as a company with undoubted skills in the metal cleaning sector.
In a climate of opening and expansion, new technologies are integrated for new types of production: manual polishing is no longer sufficient to adequately address the market, that is why the first automatic polishing machines for metal pipes and hardware are designed.
In the 90s, the market further expands, and building on the experience gained until then new investments are made on even more efficient and productive polishing machines, thus having the possibility to achieve high daily production while maintaining excellent qualitative standards specialising in tubular profiles. At the same time, metal polishing is joined by the first grinding machines.
In the 2000s, market contraction, expected and foreseen, is managed by Giulipas by entering the production of high quality items. This meant high flexibility on small series, and even higher process control to assure the strict standards required by the client.

BEING AWARE OF THE CUSTOMER’S NEEDS
After that, the market started demanding an increasingly comprehensive service to the customer, in order to supply semi-finishes ready for assembly. That is why from the first shears and punching machines, we achieved the machining centres, completing this technological innovation with the arrival of the most recent fibre laser cutting technology on pipe. At the time of purchasing, 2012, it was the third fibre lasertube in Italy.
This latest investment totally opened the market for Giulipas, which until then was mainly connected to brass and aluminium, to materials such as iron and stainless steel. Exactly from this thrust, in September 2015, an innovative wet grinding machine was the latest step until now in the continuous innovation that assures Giulipas still remains a leader in the sector.
The experience acquired in well over 30 years, and the continuous attention to customers, allow Giulipas today to supply customised products and services in processing, packaging and deliveries.
Another Giulipas department that has experienced a remarkable development in the last few years, has been the quality control one. This department consists of three full-time employees assigned to checking the quality of the items that have reached the packaging stage, ready to be shipped.

The three Engagement Partners at the company’s helm handle the administrative tasks, the production department and sales and marketing. Each partner individually deals with one sector only among the ones mentioned above, yet the synergy between them has allowed Giulipas to achieve the high quality and service standards for which it is known and acknowledged today.
