The polishing of metals, or  brushing, is Giulipas’ historic department. This means that the company has over thirty years of experience in this field, allowing it to acquire such know-how that Giulipas’ products stand out in their sector due to their extremely high quality.

Specifically, the polishing of brass tubes has been the company’s core business for over twenty years. The first all-manual productions were followed by the first semi-automatic machines designed in collaboration with the manufacturing companies, according to instructions provided by Giulipas. In short, the need for higher productivity led Giulipas to invest once again in fully-automated polishing machines.

Following the changing Italian and foreign markets, Giulipas turned its focus to the manufacturing of medium and high quality products, thus making flexibility even on small serial productions one of its strengths, at the same time as maintaining the ability to produce large serial productions.

At present, the machinery department consists of 7 fully-automatic polishing machines, capable of working pieces up to 2,000 mm long and with various kinds of sections. Round, square, rectangular, oval, and elliptical tube, and special sections.

The initial tradition, however, has been maintained and, on some products, manual polishing is still the best solution for manufacturing extremely high quality, hand-crafted products. Three manual drives and personnel with great experience and excellent manual skills are still an important feature at Giulipas.
